About Eleni
Eleni Kelakos is fueled by a passion for performing, and a desire to move, motivate and inspire others into being wholly and vibrantly themselves. A dynamic and inspiring public speaker and executive speech coach, with a seasoned performer's flair and skill, Eleni embodies the essence of her teachings-to be passionately present-whether she is addressing corporate groups, facilitating workshops (or what she prefers to call "Enter-trainings") or working one-on-one with a client in a presentation coaching session.
Eleni completed a double major in Theatre Arts and Semiotics from Brown University, and worked for over twenty years as a professional actress of the stage and screen in New York City and Los Angeles. She is also a nationally touring singer-songwriter with three acclaimed CDs, (I WILL FLY, TO THE BONE and WHERE I COME FROM), recorded and released on her own label, EEK! Records.
Eleni's Touch the Sky! Musical Motivational Keynote program was born out of Eleni's desire to synthesize her love of performing with her desire to encourage adults to celebrate their uniqueness and unleash their potential. A powerful and entertaining combination of original of stories and songs, Touch the Sky! moves individuals to feel more alive, more empowered and more committed to realizing their unique potential.
When not encouraging adults to be more of who they are in both word and deed, Eleni is busy catalyzing the same in young people, through the components of The Tallest Poppy Program-a one-woman theatrical show for children with related experiential workshops based on the theme of self-actualization at the heart of her popular song "The Tallest Poppy."
In addition to her speaking appearances and performances, Eleni helps others to speak with more persuasive authority. Under the auspices of SPEEK-Speaking Powerfully and Effectively, with Eleni Kelakos, Eleni uses her vast performing experience, as well as tried-and-true acting tools and techniques, to help business leaders make their speeches, presentations, and verbal communications with colleagues and customers, come to vibrant, powerful life.
